Back to school in a Pandemic

Whether you are in Laos, the UK and Europe or in the US, it seems like the whole world is talking about one thing this week: Back to school in a pandemic.

Each country has a different approach for this Back to School event. For us at Passa Paa it’s interesting to see the different approaches and requirements, in Laos for example it is not obligatory to wear a mask at school but many kids will indeed opt to wear masks.  Even before the pandemic a large proportion of the population wore masks; reduced exposure to sun, dust from roads and the annual slash and burn season all contributed to the habit of mask wearing, now people happily wear a mask.

For someone trying to navigate their way through all the rules and regulations we thought it would be helpful to collect interesting links that might be helpful for you as a parent, a student or as a teacher.

Last but not least, if you are still trying to find the best face covers for your kids, for their time back at school or just for their daily lives, let us recommend our own reusable Passa Paa face covers. Machine washable at up to 60 degrees, they are made with soft cotton on the outer layers, for the inner layer we use medical grade filter fabric. They also have a toggle to adjust the size of the strap over the ears and a metal insert on top of the nose for a closer fit to the face. They come in all sorts of fun colours and prints which your kids are going to love!
