Our colourful pleated skirts celebrate the rich textile heritage of the Hmong ethnic group. Created from 6 metres of fabric that has been handwoven, hand dyed in indigo, hand printed and then embellished with applique and a 6 metre panel of cross stitched pattern.

PLEASE NOTE: These are custom made to order. These skirts are our most intricate work in our collection and we would be delighted to make one for you in a colour-way of your choice.

They take 2 -3 months to make.

DETAILS & DIMENSIONS:

• The skirt is a wrap around skirt so therefore you can adjust it according to your size.

• Hand applique artisan stitching.

• Hand woven cotton from remote communities in Laos.

• Hand cross stitch panel at the bottom of the skirt.

• Hand printed pattern.

Although the colour is fixed, we suggest for it to be dry cleaned only to preserve the pleats and stitching.
