WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT IT:

• We love the luxurious yet crisp texture of this scarf and the bold and unique print adds a special accent to an outfit.

THE STORY BEHIND IT:

• The print is a repeat triangle inspired by the triangles found in Hmong batik. We wanted to play with scale and texture for this design and love how it came out. Layering up the print on top of each other gives depth and a flavour that has become known as our signature print technique at Passa Paa. To give it that extra special finish we then delicately blanket stitch in silk around the edges.

DETAILS:

• Each scarf is individually hand printed in our studio in Laos. The edges of the fabric are finished with a silk blanket stitch, meticulously sewn by our Hmong artisan partners from their homes near our studio.

CARE: For all our scarves and sarongs we recommend that you hand wash them with warm water using your regular washing detergent. The print is fixed so the colour won’t run, but in order to preserve the quality of the silk stitching on the edges this method should be the best. They air dry incredibly quickly. Iron on a silk setting.
